Page Rank Algorithm is the key for all the SEO's and a way to receive proper and appropriate SEO results. PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web.

The original PageRank algorithm was described by Lawrence Page and Sergey Brin in several publications.

It is given by
PR(X) = (1-d) + d (PR(T1)/C(T1) + ... + PR(Tn)/C(Tn))
where
PR(X) is the PageRank of page X,
PR(Ti) is the PageRank of pages Ti which link to page X,
C(Ti) is the number of outbound links on page Ti and
d is a damping factor which can be set between 0 and 1.

I guess, the information is helpful for the people who are new to SEO.

H1 Tag: Only once in the page - Put most important keywords / phrases which must define the motive of the page.

H2 Tag: Can use 2 - 4 times in a page, It should be used for paragraph headers, and those should be rich with related keywords of medium priority.

H3 Tag: Can use 2 - 6 times in a page It can be used for paragraph headers and put the low priority keywords.

H4 Tag: Can use multiple times in a page, It should be used for headers, and those should be rich with related keywords of low priority.

Few Heading Tag Optimization Check Points

Make sure that the every page has heading tags.
Except H1 tags, remaining tags can be used multiple times.
Headers must contain the keyword related to the web page.
Heading tags are very important to describe to page content. Don't forget to mention these.
